We're chatting with the Creator of AMINAMEEN DESIGNS, After months of admiring her work and "stalking" her instagram page, I was so excited to learn more about her. She is the creative mind behind the amazing designs, a lover of home goods and a world traveler. She is an engineer by day with a strong passion for creativity. What is your full Name?
Amin Adeniyi
Tell us a bit about your journey so far?
I'm a girl from humble beginnings. I'm a survivor. I'm a go getter. You can read all about my journey on my blog. www.AminAmeenBlog.com
what is your greatest triumph?
Hmmm, overcoming all odds to get to where I am at this very moment.
what has been a failure you learned from?
I don't have any "failures". I've learned to take set backs and beautiful lessons to do better next time!
Where are you from?
I'm Nigerian.
What was your childhood ambition?
To become a doctor or Engineer or lawyer like my paternal grandfather.
What was your first job?
I had my first job at age 13.. I worked in a supermarket.
What time is your alarm clock?
5am daily.
How did you start YOUR STORE?
It happened organically from my love of home decor, art, music, design and fashion.
Best BUSINESS tip for new entrepreneurs?
Be bold and be fearless!
what inspires you?
GOD. Art. And everything around me.
What’s keeping you busy atm?
My online shop, my career, My blog and my family.
What’s a perfect day to you?
A day where I made someone happy with my presence.
If you were invisible for the day what would you do?
Hmmmm I definitely need more time to think about this one....
What is your most treasured possession?
My faith in GOD. Everything I own or call mine is truly his possession. He just blessed me with it.
Describe your personal style?
Fun and sexy without being overly so. I love to mix prints and play wth color. My Instagram page will show you that in a heartbeat.
What is your wildest dream?
To live in a new country every month!
What is your proudest moments?
The day I gave birth to my son, becoming an engineer, buying a condo in my early 20s and marrying my husband (in no particular order)
What are your Hobbies?
Cooking, reading, writing, throwing bomb parties with my husband.
What is your biggest Challenge?
Balancing work and home life at times
